Organizing the National
Network of Latin Books
(NNLB) | |

 NNLB is the national bibliographic
network of latin books of Iran. It was one of
the the TAKFA projects which was developed by
Pars Azarakhsh in 2005 following the ask of
Regional Library of Science and Technology.
This network includes the bibliographic
information of latin books available in more
than 70 libraries related to the ministry of
science, research & technology of Iran such
as Regional library of science and technology,
Sharif university, Amirkabir university, Shiraz
university, Allameh Tabataba'i University
, Aerospace Research Instituteand other
universities and research centers.
The joint center’s data is transfered as the
following below:
- Information gathering
- Data merge
- Transferring the merged data to main bank of
bibliographic
One of the most important benefits of NNLB is
the capability of sending information online .
Either of joint centers may send their
bibliographic information of their documents
through this pattern:
- Batch Data Import (BDI)
- Direct Data Import (DDI)

developed for researchers, students, faculty,
professional librarians and information seekers
to ease of access to desired information.

Network of Persian Books
(NNPB) | |

NNPB is the first national
bibliographic network of Iran. It was one of the
the TAKFA projects which was developed by Pars
Azarakhsh in 2003 following the ask of Regional
Library of Science and Technology.
This network includes the
bibliographic information of persian books
available in more than 70 libraries related to
the ministry of science, research &
technology of Iran such as Regional library of
science and technology, Sharif university,
Amirkabir university, Shiraz university,
Allameh Tabataba'i University , Aerospace
Research Instituteand other universities and
research centers.
The joint center’s data is

Organizing The Health
Electronic Library (National Network of Iranian
Medical
Libraries:NNIML) | |

The National Network of Iranian Medical
Libraries was developed by Pars Azarakhsh in
2004 following the ask of Ministry of Health and
Medical Education.
This network which was developed with purpose
of connecting all medical science libraries,
causes a revolution in dissemination of
information and resource sharing.
The Health Electronic Library is developed
for researchers, students, faculty, professional
librarians and information seekers to ease of
access to desired information.
By this national network it’s possible for
all medical science universities of Iran to have
online access to required information through
the capability of Parsweb Suite in
metasearching.
At the first stage, 20 medical universities
joined this network and at the second stage
which we are developing it, the other medical
universities will join this network.

Isfahan university medical science (Centralized
comprehensive

Project of library
mechanization of Isfahan university medical
science asked by this university was implemented
by Pars Azarakhsh as a comprehensive and
centralized project. This project accomplished
with purpose of connecting all databases
available in libraries of this university to
each other and data similarization in these
colleges. Centralized method is used in this
project. We have installed a main server in
central library of university and some search
and loan clients in libraries of all colleges.
So data entry, data correction and storing is
accomplished in central library (main server)
and the other libraries can search through
information of all libraries and circulate the
own documents.
In this method all colleges has a sub server
which introduces that college to main server.

Booalisina University Of Hamedan (Centralized
comprehensive

Project of library
mechanization of Booalisina university of
Hamedan asked by this university was implemented
by Pars Azarakhsh as a comprehensive and
centralized project. This project accomplished
with purpose of connecting all databases
available in libraries of this university to
each other and data similarization in these
colleges. Centralized method is used in this
project. We have installed a main server in
central library of university and some search
and loan clients in libraries of all colleges.

Project of library
mechanization of Shiraz university asked by this
university was implemented by Pars Azarakhsh as
a comprehensive and a decentralized project.
Decentralized method is used in this project. A
server has installed in each library of college
with some clients connected that server. These
clients in addition to relate with own servers
can connect to other servers in this network and
make a profit from their own access levels. In
reality each library can see other data banks in
this network also has an independent operation
in catalogong , data entry, etc

Project of library
mechanization of Tabriz university asked by this
university was implemented by Pars Azarakhsh as
a comprehensive and decentralized project.
Decentralized method is used in this project. A
server has installed in each library of college
with some clients connected that server. These
clients in addition to relate with own servers
can connect to other servers in this network and
make a profit from their own access levels. In
reality each library can see other data banks in
this network also has an independent operation
in catalogong , data entry, etc

Preparing Compact Disk
of National Bibliographic of
Iran | |

Pars Azarakhsh has provided and
released the compact disk of National
Bibliographic of Iran from the beginning up to
now.
This CD includes the following databases:
- National Bibliographic of Iran
- Persian Subject Heading
- Personal Authority
Nine versions of national bibliographic has
been published up to date.
It’s possible to search through
this product via heading, title, subject, etc
both in Microsoft Dos and Windows environment.
One of the product’s features is its capability
in transferring bibliographic information to
user’s database via Iso (International Standard
Output), so libraries can access the prepared
cataloging. The product is published three times
in a year.

Preparing Compact Disk
of National Index of
Iran | |

Pars Azarakhsh has provided and
released the compact disk of National Index of
Iran from the beginning up to now.
This CD includes index of in
journal articles of Islamic republic of Iran. It
has indexed via Asfa (Persian cultural
Thesaurus) thesaurus particularly.
Four versions of national index
has been published up to date.
Searching via title, author and
the journal’s title is also possible in addition
to the index of each article.This search can be
performed both in Microsoft Dos and Windows
environment.The product is published three times
in a year.

of Union Catalog of
Jahad | |

Pars Azarakhsh has provided and
released the compact disk of ََunion Catalog of
Jahad In 2000 Following the ask of Ministry of
Agriculture of Jahad.
This CD includes the classified
bibliographic information of books, documents
and articles of research & educational
centers related under Secretary of education and
research Ministry of Agriculture of Jahad.
This product is offered
information about agricultural subjects to the
informationl community such as researchers,
students,etc who needs this kind of information.

Undoubtedly magnificence of
Islamic Iran is indebted of wise persons effort
in previous century which important section of
this magnificence is in manuscript features .
Therefore we must keep this treasure carefully
and introduce it to present generation.
Pars Azarakhsh has producted
the manuscript software and has known as the
best software of manuscript from arbitrator
board of Commemoration in Honor of the
Supporters of Manuscripts in 2002.
